At Poly API we were one of the first Alpha users of ChatGPT plugins and today I personally believe we are pushing the cutting edge R&D on enabling enterprises to rapidly adopt ChatGPT plugins and soon to be many more models with the appropriate level of governance.
One more building block falls in place toward building the Poly API API and Event consumption platform — support for the OAuth 2 Authorization Code Grant Type flow.
Today I am thinking about the following question? How will #chatgpt (and other AI systems to come) plugins work in an enterprise environment? Say we use 15 tools/apps etc… Will they all have their own plugins? Will IT/Security need to review each of them?
Here is a short video of Poly API enabling OpenAI #ChatGPT working with Oracle Hospitality Opera Cloud and Twilio. Lots of learnings are being uncovered in getting these systems working together. Will share those in future posts. At this point I can say with confidence that most enterprise APIs will need modifications to be usable by AI. Additionally, I have discovered that the most interesting add-ons will likely include capabilities beyond their core service. More to come…
At Poly API we just added another important capability to our API Consumption platform: server-side custom functions.
We are just scratching the surface of this bleeding edge technology but it's already apparent that ChatGPT will be a business channel for businesses soon enough.
At Poly API, we are aiming to support all the world's languages thanks to OpenAI. It's not an easy problem but I think it will be really helpful to multi-national organizations to foster more collaboration.
